Migration may cause a shift in adolescents' orientation, they may start to consider migration as their ultimate goal. It's also important the impact that it has on the hosehold lives in terms of family roles and gender roles. For example if one the adults migrate (like the husband), most of the times the family roles get reorganized depending on existing cultural practices.

Economic Effects

The positive effects of migration are: emigration of workers force employers to raise wages to fill the resultant vacancies, immigrants can contribute positively to the government revenues. Some nagative aspects may be the brain drain process where the educated population emigrate to other countries to find better jobs. Migrants may also face isolation and social instability due to poorly implemented laws.
